A Quest

Well, I just found out about this, but I'd be all for a quest. I'll even help make it if I can get some guidance since I don't know the gquest system. eRTAI!~!

ertai, it's really really easy, i'll show you if you want to help out in a little bit. It might take you 15 minutes to get the hang of it since you know pretty much everything already

excellent. and if we get running on the right day I may have as long as 6 hours that I can go uninterrupted if it takes that long eRT!~!

Yeah Ert, most stuff like that is pretty easy. I've immed a bit and pretty much the only problem with gq stuff is figuring out who's bitching is true and who just wants easier mobs and rewards. :)

The global wound up being a joint effort between Leena, Ertai, Nimue and myself. So I'd like to take the time to thank all of them for everything they did. :)

I thought the GQ was great. :) Even though I found the mobs hard to find sometimes, that was just part of the fun. :D That and bagging all those body parts to turn in. Btw, does anyone have a list of all the previous globals? Just in case I have a hair-brained idea for one that you might want to do. :) I know about this one (duh?), the greek one and the lovable bug one.

The bug quest was so fine but drove poor Cain crazy.

I liked the quest except for the fact it kept crashing every now and then.. I had alot of stupid things to turn in too… thats nuts.... i think i had like 37 blooded-something fangs from the vampriesses and like 16 gray horns from the minos and now i'll never see em again *curses stupd flippin hax0rs*

The quest was fine and I'm not sure the crashing was due to the global quest. I liked it, the rewards were reasonable, unlike almost every other GQ there has been. The Immortals did a good job of keeping the mobs out and about too, I thank them. Nice job guys.

This is an awesome response to the quest guys n' gals. I'd like to reitterate (sp) what Rythen said and just thank everyone who helped make it possible. Rythen and Leena for the majority of the work, Nimue for taking some of the stress off of my shoulders when I logged on and had to do a bunch of things, and Syn for his coding/prog experience when we had problems. all four of you deserve more credit than I could ever give, but I think the reactions speak well for you :) eRT

your right bel.. i didnt know what caused it to crash so much i just figured it was cuz of the gq….... but it was awesome.. it was the first gq i'd ever had .... it was soo much fun...

the crashing wasn't due to the GQ, it was due to something i was looking at before we lost all our data… all the imms had the patience of well, gods, putting up with it :> cheers

A resounding cher to all the Imms getting the GQ going & putting up with Spunky's bullshit! :D

I would probably be good off making a public apology to rythen and leena as well as all the players here because they've had to put up with a lot more shit than in most GQs… they did very well, and so I promoted them; it was just some unfortunate circumstances that prevented this quest from being what it could have been. I may have jumped the gun by asking for aglobal quest so early so it's probably my responsibility. I'm going to work on fixing that one bug which causes all the game stalls. I think I'm also going to put a moratorium on implementing new things until I fix this bug, just so that I don't create any more. Thanks all for your patience

That would probably be a good idea. :) However, the creative juices of everyone shouldn't stop. This just allows them to be fleshed out and more or less ironed out before put to code.
