And Elmah thinks he has an uptight school…

Heh, I wasn't saying anything about my beliefs being correct or that others should prescribe to the same set of beliefs… not at all. If everyone thought the same things, the world would be boring. Although I'm somewhere inbetween Athiest and Agnostic, I think I lean a little more toward Atheist, and I consider myself one of the most tolerant people around. I really don't give a damn about religion, just as long as others' religious beliefs don't affect me in any way (ie "kill the unbelievers!").

just bc i am tired.. if you are referring to my post, that was complete sarcasm. personally, i think churches are used to usurp ppl's right to think. again, see the webpage i pasted as an example. its like george carlin said in a skit. "Do you believe in god?" "Yes" "Do you believe in *my* god?" "No" POW, DEAD!!!! My god has a bigger dick than your god. he also said the following stark truth. "we could just outlaw religion, and these problems woulc go away in a decade or 2..but we dont have time for rational solutions."

Personally, I don't care what people believe. It is universities like that that I feel I need to jab at them with a nuke. "You're too fucking stupid to live your own life, so here is how you have to live it, or else."

Actually, I was referring more to Inimical's post.

ok, so we all referred to the same ;) still…its fucked up. :) Soth

Your flaming prejudice only makes you look like a bigger hypocrite than the oh so scary christians, Soth. As far as hating christian schools, easy fix guys. Don't attend a christian college! I rather doubt any of you do, but people DO choose the school they attend. If those doctrines work for them, peachy. No one says they apply to you too. It's a big waste of time to discuss religion with a bunch of angstful teenagers (or college kids who can't kick the habit), so this'll probably be the last I say on the matter

i dont believe the word hate ever came into the conversation. i think their rules are fucked up. i never said i hated them. i used to be one of them. i dont agree with the idea that its not ok to think how you want, or believe anything else other than what someone standing up in front of a podium tells me to. i value the ability to think and act for myself without some nasty father figure telling me i'm wrong bc i dont give a preacher money. if you got the impression i hate religion, well, i cant help that. and i dont give a shit. ppl are allowed to believe whatever they want, without my permission, and i'll support them. the second its not ok to have freedom of thought, tho, i draw a very visible line.

Jebus, I didn't intend for this to become a religious debate… I just wanted to make fun of the overly-strict school.

best laid plans of mice and men…. :)

I attend a Christian college. Why? Only place that'd accept me with my bad high school grades  But hey once I'm done here I get to use it as a stepping stone to reach something bigger and better.

~~@Elmah:~~ > But hey once I'm done here I get to use it as a stepping stone to reach something bigger and better. Yes! A stepping stone toward that modeling school venture for your endeavor to become the next male model, stalked by many women who wish to ravage your bod. Well, at least, you can dream…
