Triggered aggressive mobs, or aggressive mobs in general don't seem to be attacking. Or at least they don't attack first.

Unfortunately if they are unable to see their target, they will scream and attack and do nothing.

Doesn't matter whether or not they can see the target. Or at least, it didn't the last time I tested it.

The problem seems to be related to mobs using conventional attack commands. For anyone that can use switch, try switching to an npc and attacking something. You can't.
