Knockdown has no effect on combat.



  • Being knocked down or falling has no real effect in combat. We did test this a little, but realized that being on immortal characters may have had something to do with the results. Not fixed, at any rate.

    This is an effect of being bashed setting a timer, instead of actually changing the position of the person. I did this because in their extreme brilliance, the ROM guys decided to make "Fighting" a position instead of a state. Hence, if you're in combat, your position has to be 'fighting', or things will get majorly screwed up. I'll see if there's an elegant way to resolve this problem.

    Keep in mind that changing this will dramatically impact combat all across the game. This shouldn't be taken lightly.

    Without testing it, I believe that you can not flee while knocked down.
