Hi to all,
I've decided to start running regular backups again, even with the alpha version on the mainpotr, as well as cleaning up some of the dirs.
Areo, Nib, has helped with this immensely by cleaning up the log, area, and data files, I'd just like to document the stuff on here that I do so that people don't wonder "Where did <XXX> go?"
My doings so far:

[*]Moved all core dumps from /area to /core.[*]PENDING - going to toss out old areas that haven't been worked on in the last year or longer such as The Maze, Eden Palace, Saling Ships, Pirate area. The latter two is because it would be far easier to recode ships than to follow whisps dodgy work. PLEASE REALISE I WILL MAKE BACKUPS OF ALL AREAS PRIOR TO REMOVING ANY, and will not remove any such as "Wedding Isle" which arent currently open, but have indexed objects referenced in pfiles.[*]Working on fixing up cron to do area/player backups at least weekly.
I will edit this post as more changes are made.
