if Pmount would just stay put and save with me when i log off i would be a happy camper....but since he doesnt
i need a way to get him without having to cross the world to get him ...and keep getting him every time i log off or game goes Kablooey
now maybe instead we could work out a Post i could tie him to in town...that would be fine as well.....
anywhoo...those are my wants needs and desires..

I agree, and also, how does one go about getting an upgrade on our pmounts?

Currently you would note Nimue about it. I'd be sure to give her the room name that the mount repops in and the mounts name. I'm not sure what the fee is for upgrading.

In the past I have made beefed-up mounts. Personally, I don't think it's a good practice. If you have the money, you can make your pmount into some kind of uber-killing monster, and I think that poses an unfair advantage.
I don't like the idea of it, but as it's not fair to upgrade some and not others, I will continue to do it (for now). I have a pricing list for it somewhere among my wreckage of Need To Remember lists.
Until futher notice, I'd prefer housing requests be sent to nimue@mail.com rather than noted to me, as they are less cumbersome and more likely to not be forgotten there.

Don't beef them up just make them so you can't loose them. Either they follow you, you can send them home or call them to you.
Summon PMount - Order it to come to you. If it's outside your home. Or else you have to go home and get the darn thing.
Dismiss PMount - Send your mount home no matter where it is at the time. Good for when your dead and can't find the damn thing. Make it repop at home.
Stay PMount - Makes your mount stay in the room.
Follow PMount - Makes your mount follow you.
Find PMount - Mainly this command is for Belexus who can't locate his mount if it was standing on his foot. Like the hount command it will lead you to your mount.
I think those command would cover it pretty much and not be too much.

well you cant be going to nimue with those suggestions as they require coding. Id continue posting on this board and mebbe emailing the suggestion to syn or ertai to see what happens. I personally thing the summon mount idea is a good one even though i dont use one. As for the beefing of mounts..pfft..it IS an unfair advantage, especially since you can CAST with them and no one is doin a damn thing about it :P I dont think a mount should be able to be above level 80, and it shouldnt be able to participate in pk. That is all

Why do we need a summon pmount spell? You can target the already existing summon spell at a mob.

Pmounts are like Hubbys...they should come when called.

so whether it's a Quest item that does it ...or a spell...or whatnot...I'd forever be forever greatful *flutters lashes*

It does not always work and this would not take up mana.

or ppl have their mounts flagged as immune to summon, to keep someone else from jacking their mount. :)

I'm not really sure whether this is feasible or not, but what about having a 2nd continent pmount storage place. That way, you'd have one mount on each continent. This may be a bit overpowered though.
Or, how about a certain room that has a speech prog to call a player's pmount to avoid theft.
Pass these around and put some feedback or more ideas (This is in no way a promise that this will be imp'd or even changed soon)

Well how about this as an idea…
Make housing available on the second continate,,,
make it able to have stables like the houses on the first continate
if your horse dies why not have it just repop in the same continate that it died in.. that would be so much more easier than that... at leaste thats what i see as easy... besides... wasnt it mentioned that housing on the other continate be considered? i think this would (kill two birds with one stone) so to speak... and we would have houses over on athiema.... the second continate..

I thought that mounts were limited to three flags, so I fail to see how they become beefed that way. The increase in level, though, I do see, but from what I have seen from a level 140 mount, it seems to equate to one extra hit at a penality of losing dodge and the other defenses greatly reduced, at level 120\. For lower levels, this is a great levelling weapon, to be sure, but there is a point that you become beefier than the mount, regardless of what you do.

Something to call a mount would be awesome. Poor mMeoi is always getting lost.
And since mounts can't cast anymore, not that it was something I bothered with, as I do good to keep myself casting ehehe.. I don't find they're as overpowering.
And it's not like everyone wasn't given the chance to go crusader either, as one of the previously required classes for crusader is gladiator.. and a mount only cosst 15K. Which isn't that much really.
Being able to call them to you at anytime would make them much more versatile, so like previous people have mentioned, make a whistle or something that's a quest item to get.
Just my two cents anyhow :)
