Figured I'd announce that this coming week, my drama department is putting on the broadway musical, "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown." Unfortunately (fortunately?) I won't be on stage for this one, but I'm doing a good bit of stage work, mostly lights and sound. But it's going to be a damn good production. We've got good actors and singers. Going to be Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, and Friday morning I believe. We're doing the morning show for children and old people.
I doubt any of you live in the area but if you do it's at 7 PM each night at Spartanburg Methodist College, Camak auditorium.

Well the first three productions have gone well. The final one is tonight. Yesterday morning's show was a success, and the children and senior citizens that came to see it were laughing their butts off. One little kid ran up to Snoopy and hugged her (yes her) multiple times… I bet he was just trying to cop a feel on the cute girl ;) A few kids walked up to Lucy and asked her if she was really "that crabby." One even walked right up to her and said "I hate you." and walked away. So apparently we're good enough to be believable to the children. Always great to know you really livened up those kids' day... Wish I could've actually been IN the play instead of doing backstage stuff but hey backstage is important too.
