Yar! There be pirates here! And an Aradia. I'm working on an addiction to GuildWars, and part of my 12-step program is to apologize to those who I have hurt while nursing my problem… so I'm sorry that I've been a slacker everyone.

All right.. so I'm moving this week, which means 1) PC in a box, and 2) have to wait for Comcast to hookup the internet. So I'm not sure how soon I'll be back - should definately be before Labor day

About one of the auction incidents.. I was speaking w/ Sirrus today about different armor, and he mentioned the sleeves that were an example of Red's underhanded doings.. Sirrus says he gave Red his old sleeves, and kept the ones from the auction. Is it possible that that's what happened? There's not an auction begin/end time on there, so I don't know, but when we were talking about his EQ, he described the sleeves as the "ones he got off auc" when I asked where to get them.

Working on finishing the civilized portion of Kathnor mines - ETA on finish date either today or tomorrow, then on to the actual mine-mines. After that.... boredom?

I think both the punishment for Red and Sirrus are acceptable, and I'm actually a little disgusted at his behavior. I know he will curse and rant and scream, and try to take his few friends with him, but I don't think it will have a large negetive effect on the player base, as 1) Red's not very well liked, and 2) Everyone knows what he does is wrong, including Red himself. I also like the idea of the comment file, and the redefining of the rules, laying down in black and white what is acceptable and what isn't. That will certainly make it easier for punishments. Being a hard-ass, I like the three-strikes rule (and on occasion, the one-strike!) On one personal note, being as Sirrus and I share an IP, I really hope that it'll be his character frozen, and not the IP blocked or something like that 8) *Also, since Wroth's comment posted while reading, the idea of resetting all of Red's stats/levels for all chars is definately interesting… and kind of poetic justice - all the newbs he terrifies would be able to strike back for scaring the hell out of them.

    • RE: Timeline
I think that one reason why Reza could be more neutral (or even more evil - those rats are vicious!) is because it's a primarily -human- town. I know, humans are neutral, but IMHO, all neutral means is that there's no racial expectation to act evil/good. And I can certainly see why Vampires would have more of a hold there, as "the sins of the flesh" have a tight hold on most people. I've always thought of Reza as a border-esque town, with set laws, yes, but not with much respect to those laws. I think the balance of the towns is pretty good the way that it is - Primarily, the towns are all neutral, but you have your good side of town, and the bad. In more ways than one. Also, to touch on why Plith, the battle-center on the war against evil would allow evil-aligned characters in: Who judges what characters or mobs are evil? Or good? I know one *huge* part of my Slayer character's background is based off of the fact that she was a murdering, skull-splitting, stab-you-in-the-back pirate for most of her life. But she's still a Slayer, and therefore "good" Appearences, even when covered in scales, and eating kittens, are deceiving. Anyway, just thought I'd add my two-cents in, as babbling as it may be.
