Sorry I didn't think of this until last night when Isabel was telling me a peep story.
Why not have a "Peep Hunt" GQ for today and tomorrow. I'm pretty sure wtih help from the Imms I could easy set this one up in the wilds. Cheating would be next to impossible and no worries about waiting for a repop or Imms have to set up reset points. And I'm pretty sure you all will have fun and like the big prize. If not used for this time maybe later this month or next Spring/Easter time.
Layout:
Every few years the population of peeps gets out of hand and the powers that be must ask mortals to help hunt down and bring this plague under control. So let the "Great Peep Hunt" begin.
The Mobs:
Look Peep:
You see standing there a very cute marshmellow filled badly molded peep chick waddling next to you. The peep looks so good you could just eat it -- in fact something inside you says "Kill it, eat it, peeps are good!"
[color=yellow]1st Class: Yellow Peeps only[/color]
[color=violet]2nd Class: Pink Peep only[/color]
[color=green]3rd Class: Green Peep only[/color]
[color=red]4th Class: Red Peep only[/color]
For remort just go with your class level there is no difference.
The Reward for killing a Peep: You have to loot the corp:
[color=red]"You rip off the little peep's head and gobble it down...glup...snap...ahhhh....damn good peep![/color]
You receive XX GP; XXX Gold; XX Pratices
[You already got the exp for killing it.]
Peep head can not be auctioned since the act of taking them gives you your reward. BUT WARNING killing the wrong peep will result in NO EXP and eating their head will cause harmful effects. Keep to your own peeps!
NOTE: THERE IS NO GQ MASTER you get your reward at the time you loot the peep.
Special Mob:
[color=blue]"THE GREAT PEEP!"[/color]
This peep is HUGE and mean. It is the mother of all peep chicks. It screams "PEEP PEEP!" There is no way you can take this one on by yourself. Your going to have get some help and fast that peep looks hungry and right now you look very good to eat!
This Peep can only be killed by a group if a single player tries to kill it they WILL be eaten and THE GREAT PEEP will run off. You must have a mim of 4 people in your party to attack THE GREAT PEEP!
The idea is to promote players to work together for this prize.
The PRIZE:
Item: Light Source
Name: Orb of Wonder
Level: 10 * (so all players can wear this one)
Weight: 0
Flags: Perm-curse, no-steal, no-auction, no-give, no-sell.
This light source will do the following:
Based on the owner's level the orb will in a battle randomly cast one of four attack spells (the Imps can assign this one) or heal 100hp.
Normally the orb will cast randomly: Armor/Sanc/shield/stonskin
+*hp +*mana +*move (Based on the person's level)
Note: Becareful picking this one up since you will not be able to remove it from your inv. The idea here is it's a gift and you can't make money off this item. If you are silly enough to start collecting them by looting the corps well the imms are just going to laugh because you are stuck with the orb permently. So, share and help others get this one. Make sure everyone turns off Autoloot. Only let the person who will be keeping the orb loot the corps.
I was trying to think of one good GQ item that everyone could use and be worth having.
Of course the peeps will say things and there will be some fun stuff going on when they die or you die if you eat the wrong peep.
I have thought out the scripting for this GQ and after asking a few questions I'm sure it would only take 2 hours to get it working. It will be most likely the easiest GQ to set up. I'm also sure if set up the way I'm thinking there can not be any cheating or reason to cheat, it will get people to work together, it will not crash the game and the imms will only have to seed the wilds once with peeps after that the peeps will breed and only stop when the numbers reach their limit and only restock when players kill a peep. The peep will wander the wilds and I suggest only using the main cont.
As for stopping the GQ just reboot and there will be "Not a Peep!"
Syn if you are interested I can talk to you about it. You know I have worked on GQ's before I'm willing to give up playing the GQ to make this work. Either e-mail, pm or if you have access to AIM I'm jazelle1960 just page me. I can very easy set up all the sub scripting just need the other imms to set up the script codes.

Actually I was considering trying to do an Egg Hunt for next easter, although I like this idea as well. Unfortunately I couldn't get the global up for this weekend since I couldn't get a hold of Ertai. So hopefully we will be rerunning it next weekend. Sorry for all the delays.

Sorry about not being around this weekend. I was busy from thursday on either dealing with family or…. hell, it was my birthday. I was having a shitload of fun.
