Lately the game has been updated to make the game better to play and make the game more balanced. Bards toned down a bit, etc. A new subject that has come along was the Mounted players losing acrobatics. Which seems to be very realistic seeing as dodge would be more likely to happen than to see someone do a back flip on there mount. However taking away that defense will be some what painful in a battle. Also, I think this suggestion will make people happy and make things balanced.
Mounted players lose acrobatics and dodge like before, however, they gain a new blocking style. The style will involve a mount getting into the way of an attack and getting hit. Thus the mount will take the damage, but the player will be ok. Now this can vary in affects, for example: it can be hit by fire balls and other attack spells. That is just a thought. The success would be up to the imms. I say the percentage of it working could be something like acrobatics. But don’t forget you are still attacking the mounts if it blocks. I know people who aren’t mounted aren’t going to want this idea to make it easy to ambush a mounted person. However, losing two defenses for an extra 50% damage isn’t really worth it for most players unless they are leveling. Just wanted to see what others thought about this idea.
