Here's a string for illusionist ideas.
First up.
How about a spell that leaves the caster's image in several different rooms? Maybe even images that move about and do things like smile at people or something. If someone attempts to attack the image, the attacker's weapon would go right through the image, and they would quickly realize it's a phony. The idea is to distract people trying to kill the caster, or something. The images would even appear on where, hunt, and the like.

A fiend Illusionist... making an illusionary mirage of their normal form, shaping into some local mobs and waiting... :)

That was suggested a long time ago but there was something about memory leaking possible problems. It's a good idea though.

Well, if the memory allocation management was handled properly, there wouldn't have been any memory leaks… now would there? ;)
