[s]Well, as of April 24th, the hosting for this domain ends. Normally this wouldn't be an issue, but between getting married, renting a ridiculously overpriced room, and having to move again very soon, I don't have the money to cover it. The bill is between $120 and $130, but any money donated goes directly to the hosting bill, so I can't run off and get drunk with it :P

Well, channel tags have always been an issue for some. Not everyone likes them, and players who get drunk are required to remove their tags until sobering up. We've decided to change how they work, however.
We're planning on introducing a channeltag command (or some variation on that). You would set your channel tag with that, and it would no longer require an alias, or switching off while drunk. In addition, we will be adding a toggle for displaying the tag, so not everyone will have to see it (toggle channeltag would set it to display for you or not. Channeltag by itself will toggle your tag on or off, while 'channeltag <tag>' will set that as your new tag.

Not everyone likes the game's color scheme, and indeed, this can often be a reason to leave or stay with a game. We've been looking at this, and have decided on adding some expansions to the color command.

This is from the Dawn of Time codebase. We're thinking of something along these lines. With this system, players will be able to set what they want each part of the game's display to look like to them. This will also allow them to save color schemes, and to make them available for other players to use. We're not going to copy this, but it is the best example of what we want to do.
Like the lockers topic, I'd like to get some player feedback on both of these issues before we begin implementing them. -

Of late, we've been planning some changes to the locker system, which will be posted here for player input and suggestions before we add the new code for them.
Lockers will be changed to using a credit system. You deposit x amount of gold and your rental fee is automatically deducted from that each month. Based on how many item slots your locker has, this fee will be different.[code]locker deposit <gold amount>[/code] Locker rent will be changed to a new syntax.[code]locker withdraw <gold amount>[/code] This will let you select the number of slots you want your locker to have. Note that you must have enough on-hand to cover the first month's rent.[code]locker rent <# of slots>[/code]
You may change the number of slots in your locker, with locker upgrade/downgrade. You must have enough in your locker credit to cover the new monthly charge. (If you have 10 slots, 1k/month and decided you wanted 15 slots, 1.5k/month, you would need to have 1.5k in your locker credit before upgrading to 15 slots).
Syntax:[code]locker upgrade slots <#>[/code] With these changes, we would like to add more options for locker upgrades, though we need player input on this.[code]locker downgrade slots <#>[/code] -
