I also see this as a way to remove people's equipped spells without actually casting dispel. Horrid idea imo. And uh..im gonna say about 80-85% of worn armor isnt even metal to begin with, so there you go.

you cant have a cure/heal spell restore 3/4 of your health, that would make the whole game pointless.

And with this you could make more specialized parties to complete more specialized quests. Have a party with a thief, a mage ..one character of each class ..to accomplish one task. It would be nifty

you mean dispel/blind/spell trap i can see that, but it should be castable in combat

cant cast spelltrap in combat either cant put it on scrolls or in potions so i guess you have to put it on the ground in anticipation of someone walking in, i dunno..i never use it
