    Spunky: You don't have to attack the mount, why would you do that? If you attack the player then you are hitting them, not the mount. The mount just does damage. The only issue is it's doing too much right now. And you people shouldn't complain about losing your mounts. It's really not a big deal. You're not going to lose it. It may be changed, sure, but I have one too, or are you forgetting that? I worked just as "hard" to get mine as you guys did. And CA, if you lose your mount, you can do whatever you want to me. :wink:

You definitely shouldn't be able to have your mount tank for you , espceially your OWN mount (how much sense does that make really). now that i'm aware of it i'll fix it so that mounts arent so overpowered in battle - i.e. they cannot tank for you

    I want a mount. The whole quest for one is a cool idea, then you can quest for additinal bonus' and such. It would be interesting if it was more like a broad quest as opposed to doing a bunch of generic quests that some QM hands out cause he has nothing better to do, but something interesting. A quest that takes time and effort to complete to get the mount, then numerous little quests to get the bonus' and such as a way to spend quest points at this new quest master. Dunno, just more opinion from the resident Mittens.

I tried to backstab you, the mount jumped in, i tried to blackjack, it jumped in again. There was no getting around it

    Spunky, that's because of a crusaders riding skill that the mount stops things like deception kind of. If you would have casted or normal attacked it would have been me tanking. And Dari, I'm not sure what you mean. The only thing I said differently about my original idea is that you could keep your current mounts and just get them changed, so people don't have to do it over again.

    Nevermind, when I read your post I didn't notice that you said you had an idea for mounts in general and that pmounts should be removed.. I was thinking along the lines that you had an idea for (p)mounts.. and then those mounts should be removed. So yeah, don't mind me, I'm just out of it or something.

    You recognize the following things about this creature: Immune to: none Resistant to: none Vulnerable to: none Health: 100% Average Damage: 140 That is a mob lore on my alts pmount. He is boosted to level 89 atm. As you can see he is with in the 200 damage you suggested, although if boosted to 119 (highest allowed) he probably would be 250-300 avg dam I guess. Anyways Spunky Bel is right, ONLY way mounts can tank (especially now that you cant order them to do anything) is if you try a deception type move to start combat, cuz the mount protects from such. If mounts were so overpowered Spunky why can you still fairly easily defeat me(my alt)? Mounts change tactics needed but not the balance that much. Also mounts are easy to dispose of with a little know how. Anyways 'nuff said by me.

    Yes Red, damage in that range is fine, but in the 200's is a bit much. If we do not want to impliment a mount system (which I believe should be done, rather than what is there now) then maybe the higher damaging mounts could be lowered down. I believe my Yoshi does about 220 average damage.

    Balder Well, the time it takes to quest and get any thing takes a long ass time. Most people wouldn't get a pmount until late in the game when they don't want to use the other mounts available to them. All pmounts are good for mainly is arena battles against spunky :wink: it would seem. The only thing I think could be improved on a Pmount is a huge slur of armors that would repop with the pmount unless killed in cpk. Having the pmount sort of like a character and it would also go to the death area (can't remember the name off hand), this way people can actually look at it too if they die. It is hard to read a mount description because the damn things move to fast. And the mounts can take just as god awfully long as before, but having armors you give them, and some can be quest items, and some secrets and some you can buy would be nifty as well. Make some new stuff for the game. (Nothing over powering for the mounts though) These armors can be anti-good evil neutral too, making some new twists to sentiance. This could also take away the need for permanent spells, or make 2 affects instead of 4\. Just some food for thought though. Balder
