      So Minotaurs ( a sentient bovine in humanoid form) are easier to visualize than a race of humanoid form sentient "rockmen"? Or the almost demihuman Titans? An earth/rock based race is not as common but they do exist elsewhere. Every race on sentience was originally thought of somewhere else. Again the magic/fantasy basis of the game would be enough to allow for these "exotic" races. They could be made more "original" by changing the name and some stats but they would still be based on something else. And again, the elemental earth component of this race would give them at least average human intelligence and dex. Would they suffer trying to hit a small (ie dwarf etc) target sure, but no more or at least not much more than a Titan. Your "average" human, elf, vampire, lich or what ever race would not survive in the adventuring world, the player character of any race is Above average hence the stats.

      Well, seeing as how cancellation… kind of sucks atm, I could go with it targeting any one specific spell, and taking it out. But cancellation should cost its normal 20 or 25 mana, and also cost what the spell affecting them costs. This includes time, mana, and moonstone spells. People that use a moonstone to cast one of the most over costly spells in the game, slow, would make it almost pointless to use slow ever if someone can just use cancellation real fast to counter it. But making cancellation affect any spell would be worth it, even people behind spell deflection. It isn't like it would be hard to quaff a potion of spell deflection down if it is lost in battle. Just a thought. Balder

      I think the Absortion idea would be more suited for this problem. If your immune to something you absorb it and your immunities destroy it. it isnt converted to your lvl and then given to others, that sounds silly.

      I really don't see this as being a part of the game anytime soon, unless resistances change to a system where it isn't a flat +/-25% but a varied system where vulnerabilities are still vulnerabilities, just not as harmful. But, for iron, polarization. Their armour repels the force of iron weapons aimed at them, causing decreased damage. Silver could be diamondize, making their armour harder against silver weapons, also decreasing silver.

      yeah Red, this has been brought up to me before. I agree completely. It's on my list of things to do and I'll try to stick it in as soon as I can. It's definitely possible if a little tricky to program. It's more of a bug/exclusion than it is something i planned on. blackjack/sleep ar ejust kinda special spells because they dont allow the victim, if the attack is succeful, to retailiate directly,. in the meanwhile I'll glance at this message as a reminder. I want to make the relics risky enough to be a fair trade-off for the bonus that you get from them, but not so risky that nobody goes for them, and the pk-relic-system simple enough to be understood by all. If anyone has any other suggestions for this throw em in here.

Hrmm, I wouldnt say abuse , I would say use of a benefit of saying I do. What spouse would not come running to help there loved one. With the cross-zone limitations, I dont think that it should be an overpowering benefit, and maybe even adding a line in Score saying Married to: So&So . So that if you are thinking of attacking someone you can do a whois and a who to see if they have a spouse and if that spouse is logged and capabale of a spousegoto from where they are at. 2vs1 pk fights happen all the time. As long as you arent married to an alt of yourself then spouse goto during a pk fight should just be a benefit not an abuse. IMHO. But even if spouse goto was limited to non-pk rooms then that would prevent it from affecting pk that much accept to prevent the attack from ever happening, just as if the spouse had come by any other means.

      something different than a church tax could take place then that to determine activity. even though, like church tax, it is a little mm'ish, but i do like the counter showing # of pks, cpks, arena kills, monster kills, and deaths in all these fields on a church info you can do for other churches. I also believe that church info currently should show arena records, and should be a collection of each player's official stats on their score, not just what they've occurred in the church (as far as looking at church info for your own church that is).       OK, I've changed maze so 1) you can use it on people / npcs while fighting them, and 2) whenever they return from the maze, they are booted to a random room in the mortal world (just for fun). So, in essense, you would kinda be able to use it for transport, but that's offset by the fact that the room you exit in is random. And yes we will fix it to be an actual maze instead of "Maze Replacement Room" too ;)
